Last week, I told you we were painting baby girl’s room, so we could put shutters on her windows to block out the summer sun because she wakes up at 5:30 a.m.
I am happy to say it’s done! We did her room now because it’s not changing when we renovate. With a fixer-upper, you always have to think about paying for something now even though it will change later. For example, with painting — if the wall is coming down, why pay to paint it?
I am really happy with the painters and the shutter company. The paint was done by Primary Painting, and AAA Blinds installed the plantation shutters. Both companies have really nice people. The shutters are beautiful and make the room very dark. We might start hosting movie nights in there!
