I recently helped a client organize her kitchen. As we went through each cupboard, we noticed loose screws on the shelves. Dozens of them, sitting inside nearly every cabinet among the glassware, containers, candle sticks and pots.
The client has been in her house for about a decade, so it was not new construction. We kept wondering what message the universe was trying to send us through screws.
A few days later my client emailed me her explanation, and it was so good I had to share:
“My interpretation is that the Universe is saying, ‘Be patient. You are still under construction.’ And I am being put back together, to be as God intended, one screw at a time, with the support of people like you, Leah.”
When you de-clutter, you not only literally clear the space, but also you get clear in everything — your thoughts, your relationships, your actions. And once you get clear, you can accomplish anything. Try it.
