Yes, I just made a Ghostbusters reference. (Holla if you grew up in the 80’s!)
With all the attic clean-outs of late (check them out on the Before and After Page), I needed help hauling away unwanted furniture. I don’t have a truck (although if Santa hears wishes from Jewish girls, maybe one will show up in my driveway?)
Anyhoo, my friend called me two days before an attic clean-out, freakishly answering my wish for help. She said I needed to meet her friend, Christian Fowler, Vice President for Junk Doctors.
Christian is professional, and he’s local, my friend said.
So I put him to the test with this: a clean-out of not one, but two attic spaces that took up half of a two-car garage.
There were also some bathroom cabinets left in one attic space that I could not get down. The Junk Doctors went up and got those. Then, they started on the pile. They were done in less than an hour.
I like Junk Doctors because they take the stuff back to their shop, sort it and then donate it to charities, which is exactly what I do when I can fit unwanted items in my car. It’s important to recycle. Then the Junk Doctors mail the client the tax receipt.
In addition to stuff removal, Junk Doctors offers on site paper shredding. They also do general tasks around your house. Want to move that 300-pound entertainment center? They will do it.
And once they are done, they clean up!
Ta da! Stuff is gone, and we can all breathe easier. Thanks, Junk Doctors!
As with any service or company I talk about on this site I provide the following disclosure: I was not perked in any way. In fact, I do not take perks, money, etc. to write about things on the Raleigh Green Gables blog. I wrote this because this is what I really believe.
